This is a typical Alsatian house from 1721, fully renovated in the local tradition, located in the heart of a fortified village. There is a spacious bedroom with a queen-size bed, a baby cot, and a large wardrobe. The en-suite bathroom is very functional, featuring a walk-in shower, double sinks, towel warmer, washing machine, dryer, and toilet. The large living area includes a sofa bed (if needed), a lounge corner, dining table, and a fully equipped kitchen. High-speed WiFi with a signal booster ensures optimal coverage throughout the gite. Recycling facilities are available. In 2023, the gite was completely renovated. The courtyard and covered terrace (with gas barbecue) are accessible from May 1 to September 30. The church and its large square are right in front of the gite, with wine-tasting cellars nearby, in the heart of the vineyards. There is a bakery and mini-market next door, as well as walking paths, a children’s playground, and a sports field 100 m away. Parking is available at 50 m and 150 m. You will be warmly welcomed by your hosts, who are passionate about cooking, hospitality, and sharing local discoveries. Located 800 m from KAYSERSBERG, the village is surrounded by vineyards. On the wine route, in the heart of the golden triangle. Kientzheim, or Kientza in Alsatian, is in the historic and cultural region of Alsace and, since January 1, 2016, has been part of the new commune of Kaysersberg-Vignoble. It is renowned for its grand cru vineyards and named sites: Furstentum, Altenbourg, Vogelgarten, Grafreben, Wolfreben, Patergarten, Mambourg, Schlossberg. The church and its large square are just opposite the gite (the bells are muted at night), with wine cellars nearby.
